Before you set off
On the route
The campus keeps working while the walk is on. These few things keep everybody safe.
- Follow the rope line. It marks the approved route from start to finish.
- Do not enter the 110 kV substation area or any electrical yard. Follow the marshals where the route passes them.
- Give way to vehicles. The internal roads stay in use during the walk.
- The Thalambur road back gate stays closed while the walk is on. Enter and leave by the Main Gate.
- Stay off ramps, basements and service yards. They are not part of the route.
- Tell a marshal or the nearest security guard if you see a hazard, a dark stretch or anything unsafe.
